Prices and payments

All our prices are in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP), exclusive of any import duty
Payment terms: 50% deposit on placing order. Balance in cleared funds prior to delivery
Uk customers may order and pay by post enclosing a cheque made payable to

“Velda Lauder”.

Orders paid by cheque will only go into production once funds have cleared. We also accept MasterCard, Access, Visa, Barclaycard, Delta, Switch, Solo and Maestro cards, please call 0207 281 5626 for credit and debit card payments. For security reasons we do not keep your card details on record.
Bespoke orders : quote on request.

Ordering:

If an item is urgently required, please contact us before placing the order to check if we can meet your deadline
Most of our garments are handmade to order and therefore take time to produce. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery. During very busy periods delivery times may be extended .If this is the case, we will do our best to keep you informed at all times.
Custom made, bespoke corsets, generally take 4-6 weeks, as bespoke orders usually include a fitting , twoille and possibly embrodiery and bead work.
Please refer to the size charts for sizing information before you make your order and call us if you need further information.

Delivery

All prices are exclusive of shipping and local import duties. In the UK we deliver by Royal Mail special delivery. In Europe and rest of the world we ship our orders via Royal Mail International Signed For. We do not ship to PO boxes.
Postal costs guide:
UK £10 per corset
Europe £15 per corset
Rest of world £20 per corset

Returns

Please ensure you check your sizing against the size chart before ordering. We will exchange or give a credit note on any faulty un-worn Corset. Contact us first within seven days of delivery to let us know about the item and reason for your return (faults which have not been reported to us before posting will not be refunded.) Ensure that you send it by registered or recorded mail, as Velda Lauder Corsetiere cannot be responsible for items lost in the post. If you are returning items from outside of the UK, Please ensure that you clearly mark on the customs declaration that the items contained in the package are “RETURNS” to prevent the package incurring customs charges. If this occurs we reserve the right to refuse the product or charge the customs and tax duty to you.
The cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is faulty and then we will happily cover the postage costs. This only applies when the company is aware of the returning item and the costs incurred.

Damaged in transit:

It will be your responsibility to inform us immediately of any damage to the delivered goods. Details must be recorded on the delivery documentation, and we must be notified no later than 48 hours after delivery. It is imperative that you do not dispose of any of the packaging as this will be required to effect the claim against the carrier

Corset Care:

Please follow the instructions on corset fitting and sizing, make sure you choose the correct corset size for you. When you put on your corset loosen off the lacing fully to allow you to put the corset on easily. Once fastened pull the laces carefully to ensure an even take up on the body (see lacing instructions). Corsets should be cleaned by theatrical/specialist dry cleaners only. Never wash your corset. After each wear, air your corset to freshen it up. We also advise wearing a silk or cotton chemise under your corset.

Privacy Policy:

Velda Lauder Corsetiere, take your privacy very seriously We do not rent, sell, share or give personal information about you to other commercial organisation or third parties. However we may release your data if this is required by a legal process or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
